18902854_10102179885485802_1459050691_nHello and welcome back, GV Readers! The site went on hiatus for a while, but we are back with a new look (hooray!) and some new articles and features that we’ll be unleashing upon the world over the next few days and weeks. I’ll be heading up north to Denver Comic Con in a few weeks, and I’ll be sharing all about it here.

I am happy to announce that we are introducing a new feature called Geeky Science: a podcast run by my amazing friend Amanda. I first met Amanda two years ago (in 2015) at DCC, in what has become one of the best random chance encounters that I’ve ever had in my lifetime. Since then, we’ve attended various conventions together and have geeked out over so many different topics.

So, what is Geeky Science about? Geeky Science explores the science behind some of your favorite shows and films, taking scenes from them and deconstructing them, giving you lots of history and other interesting facts behind the “science” of the scene or a show or film with Amanda’s encyclopedic knowledge of “all the things” breaking it down for listeners. She will be delivering fresh new content exclusively on Geeky Voyage.

If you would like to connect with Amanda follow her on Twitter: @mandama004.

For podcasts and other videos that we’ll be sharing in the future, please subscribe to our groovy new YouTube channel: Geeky Voyage on YT.

And now, I present to you…GEEKY SCIENCE!
